Our students at Colegio La Encarnación – Villena have become castaways for a few days to participate in the exciting «Deserted Island Survival» project. Working cooperatively in groups of four, students are using English to plan how to survive on a deserted island. To complete the challenge, they have had to make critical decisions: selecting and justifying 15 essential items, establishing 7 group laws, and designing a creative exit strategy.
Following a research and writing phase, each team organized their plan into a presentation, ensuring at least three sentences were written for each prompt. The project concludes with oral presentations, where students demonstrate their A2-level fluency and their ability to answer spontaneous questions from the teachers. Through this activity, they are not only improving their English but also developing personal initiative and the competence of adaptation.
We are incredibly proud to see how your effort and creativity help you «survive» any challenge!
