This activity was based on a project-based, collaborative, and student-centred learning approach, encouraging students from the partner schools to work together as active creators of knowledge. Through the joint planning of a virtual journey across different cities in Spain and Italy, students developed intercultural awareness, digital competence, communication skills, and collaborative decision-making abilities.
Working in international teams, students researched and selected the most significant landmarks, monuments, and places of cultural interest in the chosen cities. To reach a common agreement on which sightseeing attractions to include, they used the forum on the European School Education Platform (ESEP), engaging in online discussions, exchanging ideas, and justifying their choices. This process promoted democratic participation, negotiation skills, and respectful communication in an international learning environment.
